by CRTV

Start-ups – Immigration solutions for high educated Chinese entrepreneurs

by CRTV

14 maart2After graduation, Chinese students may be eligible for the so-called “search year permit” that allows students to search for a job in the Netherlands. After this year, they have to apply for a new residence permit to continue their stay in the Netherlands. On the basis of a job with an employer the highly skilled migrant program may support a permit, however this does require finding a qualifying employer and meeting certain salary thresholds.

For those who want to start their own business, the recently implemented “Start-up permit” may provide a solution. This permit allows entrepreneurs to start their own business from scratch, provided that the product or service is innovative and certain other requirements are met.
