On Monday the 18th of March The Big Four will give their first and solo concert in Europe in The O2 London. The Big Four is a male formation of Andy Hui (許志安), Dicky Cheung (張衞健), William So (蘇永康) and Edmond Leung (梁漢文), four Hong Kong artists who had gained many years of popularity and who are also long time buddies. For the first time in the history of Chinese concerts in Europe, there are a large number of big names from the Hong Kong music scene sharing one stage. It is going to be an unforgettable and amazing night, with great music and one of the finest Hong Kong musicians e.g. Mark Lui (雷頌德) as musical director, Eddie Ng (吳國敬)as one of the backing vocalist, Joey Tang (鄧建明) on guitar, Pal Sin/豹哥 (單立文 ) on bass and Dennie Wong (黃丹儀) on keyboards.
On the 14th of February, Big Four ended their first series of six sold out concerts in the Hong Kong Coliseum. Best friends showed up as special guests, like Eddie Ng (吳國敬) and Joey Tang (鄧建明), who are joining the crew to London. Other good friends like Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Nicolas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Sandra Ng (吳君如) came to support them. On the last night on Valentine’s Day all four spouses or girlfriends were watching the show and also other good friends like Yumiko Cheng (鄭希怡), Eric Kwok (郭偉亮), Maria Lai (黎芷珊) and Bobby Yip (八両金) were present.
The show of The Big Four is all about fun; besides enjoying their old time favourite songs, it is also about celebrating their friendship. During the six sold out nights in Hong Kong spectators can feel and see how deep their relationship goes, and how this friendship infects us all! Although they don’t know if they will go on tour as The Big Four for a third time, they are definitely going to bring a great show in The O2 in London on the 18th of March.
