In Mix wordt etnische gemengdheid voor het eerst onder de aandacht van een breed publiek gebracht. In het boek wordt aan de hand van essays van wetenschappers, schrijvers en ervaringsdeskundigen, persoonlijke ervaringen van volwassenen en jongeren en foto’s van etnisch gemengde jongeren door gerenommeerde fotografen, een unieke inkijk gegeven in etnische gemengdheid in de Nederlandse samenleving.

But since Chinese words improperly pronounced often have completely different meanings than what is intended, many Chinese select English names that have certain significance for them while also offering international visitors, and even residents, a far easier chance to pronounce them correctly.
